If you’ve ever eaten at the Cafe in Nordstrom, then you’ve probably devoured this extremely delicious and hearty creamy tomato basil soup (which almost always elicits a “yummmm” from me after every bite). This soup was surprisingly quite easy to make and if you’re having a cold and rainy day like we are here in Washington, D.C., I’d say today is the perfect day to try it out for yourself. And since I went all out to make the soup, I just couldn’t purchase store bought garlic bread right!!??? So I finally tried this recipe from one of my favorites, Ina Garten, and, like most of her dishes that I’ve made, it did not disappoint.
