The temperature dropped a little yesterday and the forecast predicted rain so instead of slipping into wedges or flops, I opted for a pair of black boots (in retrospect, I’m not sure I’m a fan of this look) for a movie date. I’ve actually been on the search for the perfect pair of grungy short motorcycle-esq boots for awhile now but just haven’t been able to locate the perfect ones.Is anyone else equally as obsessive when it comes to shoe shopping? I ended up tying a denim shirt around my waist but didn’t remember to snap a picture. I think the addition improved the look…ah well, next time.

The print of the shorts is cute! I like how you paired the shorts with boots! Like you, I’m obsessive when it comes to shoe shopping. Especially for boots, which I keep forever. I’m not a fan of half tucked in/ half out. It reminds of Jersey boys trying to show off their bling, bling belts. Or a bootylicious woman trying to show off or hide her butt. I don’t get the point.
