Although I expected rain this weekend, I was shocked that the temperature read 65 degrees when I checked the forecast Saturday morning. Deciding to put my plans of white water rafting and zip lining in the great outback of West Virginia on hold until sunnier skies poke through, I didn’t let the weather put a damper on my weekend or my mood. After reading about the LEGO exhibit and Miniature Golf course temporarily housed at the National Building Museum (both in DC until September 3), I couldn’t wait to check it out.

J.Crew Sweater {on sale!}; Zara Pants; Coach Flats {old}; Michael Kors Tote; Lettie Gooch Necklace; Bracelets: Wanderlust + Co, Poshlocket, Hermes, and Michael Kors; Michael Kors Watch; Tote’s Macro Umbrella
I was INFATUATED with LEGOs as a kid and was blown away by the complexity and architectural structure of the mini replicas of seven of the most famous skyscrapers designed by world renowned architects (sorry for the picture quality, not taken w/ my Canon Rebel). If you live in or are visiting DC before September, I highly recommend a visit.
