Even though Saturday was quite cold and windy in the District, I just refused to be lazy and slip on uggs and sweats (I detest both). This is where layering comes in handy. Although you can’t see the black turtleneck under my grecian inspired dress, it really does help transform a summer outfit into something wearable in the winter. When you live in a climate that truly recognizes all four seasons, stocking/tights, turtlenecks, and just about any item of clothing that can be layered, are so important. Not only can you conjure up unique and fun outfits, you will no longer have to stow away those dresses and shorts in the colder months.
