After wearing subtle colors the last couple of days, I was in the mood for something vibrant and fun. I purchased this piece last week from the creative vintage reconstructors of Mila & Fire. I’m always in awe by reconstructed pieces and curious to know how they looked in a previous life. This is such a great item to have for lazy summer days and I can’t wait to wear it to a backyard shindig or walking along a boardwalk somewhere. But for now, this is my attempt of an “on location” shoot (hahahaha).

Since the dress is so busy, I decided not to add arm loads of bracelets or a lot of other adornments, allowing the dress be the only focal point. And although you can’t purchase this exact dress, they have so many awesome alternatives like this dress or this awesome blouse (that I just might purchase myself!).
Mila & Fire Dress; Loft Belt {old but cute one here}; Target Beach Tote {old but love this one}; Corso Como Sandals {old but affordable ones here and gorgeous ones here}; H&M Sunnies {recent}; Lettie Gooch Earrings

Great look for a hot summer day. Love that the dress was “reconstructed” from a vintage piece.
So pretty and vibrant!
